Presently, we have been active in the recruitment and placement of English teachers in foreign countries; we have been active in supplying teaching materials for the English teachers we have helped place in foreign countries; and we have been involved in educational training trips in various countries. Our expertise is in the areas of leadership training, organization, computers and electronics, and life skills.
Our goals for the future are to maintain and increase what we are already doing in these international projects. We would also like to help start a new or grow the present TESL (teaching English as a second language) program that is offered in Lynchburg to the international community in our area. We would like to start offering scholarship awards to local high school graduates who have shown an interest in helping our local or global community and we would like to help facilitate some life skills training (financial planning, automotive repairs, general housing maintenance, parenting skills, etc.) in our area.
